Our Approach

We pride ourselves on being equal partners with consultants and research firms, fostering mutual learning and leveraging collective expertise. Our preference is to collaborate with national partners and consultants, resorting to external international resources only when absolutely necessary. This approach not only promotes sustainability but also ensures that we remain true to our commitment to ethical and sustainable operations.

What we offer

Specialised Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

We offer a comprehensive suite of services, from design and management to delivery of evaluations and dissemination of results.

Diverse expertise

Our vast experience spans across humanitarian and development contexts, including but not limited to humanitarian response, education, health, child protection, and refugees/migration.

Innovative methodologies

We utilize a variety of evaluative methods, such as consultative/participatory, theory-based, impact, and mixed methods for both qualitative and quantitative data collection.

Our proficiency extends to diverse data collection tools like document reviews, surveys, FGDs, KIIs, and observations, coupled with adeptness in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis using the latest software and statistical packages.

Commitment to excellence

Every interaction with our clients is marked by active listening, continuous engagement, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. All our partners share our overarching principle: placing evidence and equity at the heart of evaluative exercises.

Global reach

Our global network of partners and experts enables us to operate worldwide, addressing various specialisms and swiftly responding to both planned and ad-hoc evaluations. Many of our partners function at national, regional, and community levels, while HealthGen UK boasts international mobilization capacity.

Collaborative partnerships

We maintain robust relationships with our partners, as evidenced by our delivery of four evaluation LTAs, such as the current UNHCR evaluation framework and agreements with WHO, UNICEF Lebanon, and UNICEF Pakistan. These collaborations are a testament to our partnership longevity, unified vision, team cohesion, methodological alignment, and quality assurance.
